Breastfeeding is natural, but sometimes it’s not easy! La Leche League of Indiana is here to help. LLL Leaders are located all over Indiana and we are just a phone call or email away. La Leche League Leaders are mothers who have breastfed their babies. Leaders are also volunteers who have been accredited by La Leche League International to provide breastfeeding management and mother to mother support.
The mission of La Leche League is to help mothers world-wide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.
La Leche League is an international, non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
La Leche League of Indiana has groups all over the state. Groups meet in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings at a variety of locations. However, Leaders are available to answer phone calls and emails when a meeting isn’t convenient. Find a meeting or La Leche League Leader near you!
